pH:
- Most natural waters range from pH 4 to pH 9, but commonly are above pH 7 because of carbonates and bicarbonates (alkalinity). The pH of water used in industry, boiler feed water, and swimming pools usually is kept within a narrow range.
- Simply add indicator to the sample and compare the color to the spots on the color disc to measure pH.
